Daisy Yang is a Taiwanese Canadian Visual Artist rooted in the documentary photography tradition. Her projects navigates themes of migration and identity with a focus on their fluid evolution and geopolitical undercurrents. Informed by her personal journey as a young immigrant, Daisy possesses a distinctive perspective that brings to life the intercultural tapestry surrounding her. Her art is characterized by a profound collaborative spirit, forging meaningful connections with her collaborators. Daisy's work has exhibited in Canada, Taiwan, and Spain, and she recently shared her insights as a guest speaker at University of British Columbia (UBC). Furthermore, her project “The Becoming” has been featured at the Himalayan Program in UBC (2021) and the Lightbox Photo Library in Taipei (2023).
