Daisy Yang is a Taiwanese-Canadian visual artist whose practice is grounded in photography, research, and long-term engagement. Her work investigates the formation of identity through migration, labour, memory, and place, tracing how personal experience is entangled with broader social, historical, and geopolitical conditions. Moving between documentary, archival, and autobiographical approaches, she explores photography as a way of examining lived experience, inherited histories, and the complexities of representation.
Her work has been exhibited in Taiwan, Indonesia, and Spain. She has presented her practice at the University of British Columbia and Lightbox Photo Library in Taipei.
